Custom Order Policy

Requests are not confirmed orders
Every project starts as a custom-order request. ZV Forge Co. reviews each request and contacts you regarding feasibility, pricing, design approval, production time, and payment. A request becomes an order only after you approve the design and quote.
Quotes and pricing
Pricing depends on the item, material, design complexity, quantity, and production requirements. Quotes are valid for the item, material and quantity discussed; changes may affect the price.
Design approval
You approve the final design, spelling and details before production begins. Once approved and in production, changes may not be possible and personalized items generally can't be returned or refunded.
Turnaround and needed-by dates
Turnaround varies by project. Tell us your needed-by date when you submit your request and we'll confirm whether we can meet it before production. Event and bulk orders should be submitted as early as possible.
Customer-supplied items
We can engrave many items you already own. Send photos and details first — we'll review the material and tell you whether it can be safely engraved. Engraving customer-supplied items is at the owner's risk, as we can't guarantee how unfamiliar materials will react to the laser.
